Learning & discovering new opportunities is within your grasp

Virtual Reality (VR) offers the opportunity to improve learning outcomes in a safe & controlled environment. It provides the ideal setting whereby students gain and practice everyday “real world” skills in an enjoyable, comfortable and safe setting.

Such a controlled environment is particularly ideal for participants with disabilities – as they learn and train via immersive learning scenarios without the risk of being in unfamiliar surroundings.

VR offers our participants exposure to experiences that they might not be able to access out in the real world.

There are a range of examples in which Virtual Reality can help participants (students or adults), here are the main points:

  • Students can learn better through experience

  • VR has the ability to inspire & offer situations that the participant might not ordinarily have access to

  • VR sparks the imagination and fosters creative thinking

  • VR in education promotes peer interaction

  • VR engages students

  • VR offers an enjoyable, safe & controlled learning environment

Our Approach

Connex Life is all about implementing new ideas and alternative ways to assist participants with a disability to overcome barriers: VR is one of our core methods. We focus on the 20:20 rule – training for 20 minutes & off for 20 minutes.

We provide the simulated “immersive environment” world to you, and understand how things can be challenging, especially with specific fears and barriers you may be facing. With Virtual Reality, it allows you to explore things in the comfort of your own home (or in a controlled surrounding). It has helped our students to be more confident with themselves and understand how best to face these challenges in the real world.
