We have another good news story to share. Learn about how we use Virtual Reality to support our clients through our SLES service here at Connex Life.
Virtual reality opens up a whole new world for students with disabilities. They can practice real-world skills in a safe and controlled environment. The best part? They can learn from realistic scenarios without any risks.
Additionally, our SLES participants explore different work environments and participate in interactive job interview simulations.
They can choose preferences from work experience this way and have access to different jobs, such as barber, waiter, office clerk, and many other employment roles.

Virtual Reality, Learning and Benefits
Many people have heard of VR but often haven’t had direct contact or usually they are unsure how this technological feature may be used in a learning and training environment. Did you know that the body and brain remembers VR simulations? Just like real-life experiences.
This is particularly beneficial for participants with a Disability – who are often facing difficulties and challenges in their Daily Living.
We offer a simulated “immersive environment” where we understand the challenges you may be facing, including your specific fears and barriers. With Virtual Reality, you can explore and overcome these challenges in the comfort of your own home or in a controlled environment. It has proven to boost our students’ confidence and their ability to effectively face these challenges in the real world.
